Meet Our Team

We’re here to help.

Jordan brings with her a strong customer service background by managing restaurants and working in tech start ups as well as the Perot Museum in Dallas TX. Her vibrant personality and ability to keep things organized are her strong points. She is often the first smile that you will see when you enter our hospital. She was born and raised in Houston Texas and comes from a long line of animal rehabbers and rescuers. Growing up with multiple dogs, cats, snakes, turtles, parrots and an occasional raccoon, opossum, duck or bird started her love for all living things.

For many years, before she met the love of her life, she wrote, sang and recorded music for her own band. She built her own music studio where she recorded her own EP. She shares her home with a Swiss mountain dog, Pollo, Tibetan terrier, Cooper, a Greek tortoise named Grootie, a Bearded Dragon named Gordito and 4 fresh water fish. She shares her little animal kingdom with her husband and three kids.

Alexis came with strong recommendation about her work ethic and drive to learn. She loves talking with people as much as she loves cuddling animals. You will find her helping with your pet in treatment or checking you into a room for an exam. She is also a native Texan being born in Houston but growing up and graduating in Lago Vista, TX. She shares her home with her dogs Fred, Peppy, Taco and a fish tank full of fish. She has a creative side and enjoys designing t-shirts and cups. In her spare time she attends class at ACC or can be found with her boyfriend Johnathan and her friends at the lake or riding 4 wheelers.

Breanne comes to us with a history of working in several boarding facilities. She was hired based on recommendations and her strong desire/concern to make sure pets are kept clean and comfortable at all times. She enjoys working with all shapes, sizes and breeds of fur babies and has a long term goal of being a Veterinary Technician which we hope to help her meet. You will see her taking care of your pets while boarding or at the front desk. She was born in Austin, Texas but grew up nearby in Lago Vista, TX. In her free time she spends time with her boyfriend Ethan and her cats Raspberry Juice and Basil and two new baby guinea pigs.

TK started tech school in 2008. Starting a family delayed her finishing but her attention to detail got her into a lead Anesthesia position at a specialty hospital. Even though she spends most of her time in surgery, her favorite part of her job is bonding to her patients and she does an excellent job calming down our anxious and fearful pets. She prides herself on owning/taking responsibility for the fur babies placed in her care. She grew up in El Paso, Texas and came to Austin in 2003. She lives with her husband and three sons along with a 10 yr old Catahoula mix named Dakota, a Miniature Australian Shepherd named Sky and a nine year old cat named Goldie. Her family loves fish and has many fish tanks in her home. Halloween is her favorite holiday and if she could, she would celebrate it all year.

Kennel and Tech Assistant and Landscape Management

Animals come easy to me, I grew up on a 400 acre hay ranch in the west desert east of Moab, UT. My dad was a well known horse trainer and border collie trainer. There were always animals everywhere, 20-30 horses at a time, sheep to train the dogs, steers and pigs that we would raise for 4H, cats, goats you name it.

As a youth at any given time you could find my big brother and I out in the hills hunting, riding three wheelers, or climbing rocks and hills we had no business being on. After high school I ended up going to college in Boulder, CO but my heart was still in Moab so I moved back to my hometown and helped my mom in her new career as a real estate broker, I ended up running her property management company for 12 plus years. After years of dealing with tourists’ condo accommodations I felt a change of careers was in order and that’s what brought my son Kannon and I to this part of Texas. Working at the vet clinic is fun and rewarding in so many was and it is the change Kannon and I needed.

Manager and Technician

Matt comes from an animal loving family where he grew up raising and showing 4-H animals from rabbits and pigs to lambs and horses. He has always had a dog and learned that he had a true love for cats when he bonded to his first cat Baxter in 1998. (Baxter lived to 21 years of age!). Wildland fire fighting and managing his own fire crew gave him great management experience where he had to manage several people in stressful and potentially life threatening situations. Matt left the job he loved to finish his college degree in Criminal Justice. He spent three years working and managing a veterinary boarding facility where he learned what it took to run a boarding facility as well as picking up some technician skills. Matt is now our bookeeper, Mr Fix It, tech assistant and boarding kennel manager.

We cherish your pet as though they were family.
